Former Bulldog runs at NCAAs

Virginia Tech junior Keith Ricks (King’s Fork) finished 18th out of 24 sprinters with a time of 10.51 seconds in the 100-meter dash at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa Wednesday evening.
Ricks holds the second-fastest 100 time, 10.39 seconds, in Virginia Tech track history. He represented the United States in the 2009 Junior Pan-American Games in Trinidad and Tobago.
While at King’s Fork, Ricks was an AAU national champion and nationally-ranked in sprints ranging from 55 to 400 meters.
