Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth and Rhonda Butts Sr., of Norfolk, would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Frances Y. Butts, to Minister Dionte E. Futrell, son of Alton Futrell Sr. and Betty Futrell, both of Suffolk.

Dionte is a 2004 graduate of Nansemond River High School. He is the Minister of Music at St. Paul Baptist Church, Suffolk. Frances is a 2005 graduate of Franklin High School and a 2009 graduate of Norfolk State University. She currently is pursuing her master’s degree in community counseling from Regent University.

A summer 2012 wedding is planned.
