The incident occurred at the Planters Club at 4600 Planters Club Drive, off Sleepy Hole Road, according to city spokeswoman Debbie George.

George said the facility was rented by a father, ostensibly for a private “Sweet 16” party for his daughter. However, unbeknownst to the city, tickets were sold for the event at $5 in advance or $10 at the door.

About 10:30 p.m. Saturday, several fights broke out in the building, George said. Hired security guards escorted problem-causing individuals outside, where the stabbing took place, George said.

The victims, 15-year-old and 18-year-old males and a 17-year-old female, were taken to area hospitals.
