Suffolk Police are asking for assistance from the public locating a man who has been missing since he was involved in an accident Wednesday.

They are seeking Solomon Clay Blow, 36, of Suffolk. Blow is described as 6-feet-2-inches and 305 pounds, according to city spokeswoman Debbie George.

Police were called Wednesday to the scene of a single-vehicle accident in the 3600 block of Longstreet Lane, a press release from George’s office said. Upon arrival, they found an overturned vehicle without a driver. They learned the vehicle was last observed being driven by Blow.

On Saturday, Blow’s family members reported him missing. They said there had been no known contact with Blow since Tuesday.

On Sunday, Suffolk Police were aided by a variety of regional law enforcement agencies in searching the wooded area around the crash site. Blow was not located, despite the efforts of Suffolk Police, Suffolk Fire and Rescue’s Search and Rescue Team, Tidewater Search and Rescue, Virginia Beach Air Unit and Hampton Police K-9.

George said evidence and follow-up investigation suggest Blow walked away from the accident scene. Police are asking anyone that may know his whereabouts or has seen him since Wednesday morning to contact Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or Detective C. Balzer at 514-7944.
