A 14-year-old Suffolk boy was seriously injured on Saturday when he fell from a skateboard that was being pulled by a car.
The accident took place around 4:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Rabey Farm Road, according to Suffolk spokesperson Debbie George.
George said in a press release that the teen sustained head injuries when his head hit the pavement as he fell from the skateboard. He was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he was showing improvement on Monday, George said.
The vehicle was being operated by a 17-year-old male at the time of the accident.
Police, who are investigating the accident, did not release either of the boys’ names.
