To the Editor:

The upcoming Suffolk School Board election Nov. 2 is critical for our children and our community.

In today’s atmosphere, the school environment is intense and unfortunately sometimes dangerous. Suffolk citizens must step up and elect officials to the board who are knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of the daily life of our students.

With this in mind, I support William N. “Bill” Owen for the Holy Neck Borough. He has been an educator for 43 years in both public and private institutions. He has enormous experience in his association with both students and their parents. Above all, he is morally and ethically correct, not turning away from the unfortunate or unpleasant situations involving his students and their parents.

I hope you will carefully consider your vote on Nov. 2 and place your trust in William “Bill” Owen.
