Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Boothe, of Suffolk, Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, LaKeisha Boothe, to Gregory Brown, both of Suffolk.

Gregory is the son of Sheila Thorne and Thadeus Thorne Jr., of Suffolk. Gregory is the paternal grandson of the late Thadeus Thorne Sr. and the late Mary Harris. Gregory’s maternal grandparents are the late William Brown and the late Elizabeth Skinner. Oice L. Skinner is Gregory’s maternal step-grandfather.

LaKeisha is the paternal granddaughter of the late Herbert and the late Erma J. Boothe. LaKeisha’s maternal grandparents are the late Thomas and the late Caroline Bailey.

Gregory is employed by Trindco of Suffolk.

LaKeisha is employed by Western Tidewater Community Services Board of Suffolk.

A fall wedding is planned in Suffolk.
