SUNBURY, N.C. — Billy Liles Overman, 57, of 153 Folly Road, died Monday, April 12, 2010 in Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, Va.
Mr. Overman was born in Suffolk, Va., and was the son of the late George and Margaret Liles Overman. A machine operator with Lipton Tea in Suffolk, he was a Christian by faith.
Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Cynthia Tester Overman; his daughter, Ashley Overman and his son, Jake Overman, both of the home; and two brothers, James “Bug” Overman, of Sunbury, and Glen “Mickey” Overman and wife, Christine, of Elizabeth City.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main St., Gatesville, by the Rev. Tom Hall. A private committal will follow in the family cemetery at the home. Friends may join the family in the funeral home following the chapel service on Thursday.
