SUFFOLK — Mary E. Rich, 90, died Jan. 10, 2010, at Sentara Obici Hospital.
Mrs. Rich was an active member of St. Mary Holiness Church, 1019 Great Faulk Road, Whaleyville.
She was predeceased by her husband, the late George V. Rich.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Mary J. Rich; son, George L. Rich; three sisters, Carrie Duncan, Lucendia Kitt and Miggie Cummings; three brothers, Henderson Edwards, Issac Edwards and Joseph Edwards; a devoted niece, Freddie M. Posey; other relatives and friends.
The funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Union Branch Baptist Church, Corapeake, N.C., by the Rev. Clarence Myrick.
Paying of last respects will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Wyatt & Sons Funeral Home Inc., Suffolk.
Her remains will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. the day of the service.
Family and friends will assemble at the 1200 block of Davis Lane, Suffolk, one hour prior to the service.
