David Gregory Lashells, 50, died Dec. 17, 2009, at his home.
Born in Livonia, MI, he was the son of Martha Rose Lashells of Findlay, Ohio, and the late Theodore B. Lashells. David was employed as a carpenter with the Suffolk Public Schools, but always said he worked for the children.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Karen Denise Lashells; children, Samuel Lashells and Abby Lashells of Suffolk; three sisters Lynn Shouvlin and husband Tom, of Jacksonville, Fla., Patricia Chavarria and husband Paul, of N.Y.; and Mary Beth Sylvia and husband Bruce, of Boston, Mass.; and a brother Paul Lashells and wife Maria, of Cincinnati, Ohio; and eight nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009 at 3 p.m. in the R. W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory by Father Piotr Bialkowski.
