Richard “Duke” Dukes, of 905 Truman Road, Suffolk, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009 at Sentara Obici Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009 at Way of the Cross, 2800 Chesapeake Blvd., Norfolk, officiated by Pastor Franchone Dukes and Pastor Christian Hines. The body will be in the church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Dukes Estates in Union, N.C. The family will be at Crocker Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 18, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. Crocker Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
