Ms. Minnie Brown, formerly of Suffolk, departed this life in Newport News, Va., on Sept. 1, 2009. She was a longtime member of the New Mount Joy Food for Living Ministries. She was retired from Planters Peanuts (Kraft Foods).
A funeral of triumph will be held on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the New Mount Joy Church, County St., Suffolk, Va. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with the home going service.
