Mr. Reginald A. Skeeter departed this life on Aug. 21, 2009 at Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, Va. He was the son of the late Earl Skeeter Jr. and Celestine Ashe.
Reginald graduated from John F. Kennedy High School, Suffolk, and he received a degree in Engineering and Urban Planning from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and University (Virginia Tech) in Blacksburg, Va.
He was formerly employed with the Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority as a housing specialist. His most recent employment was with the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority in Portsmouth, Va.
He is survived by his step-mother, Therese Skeeter, of Suffolk, Va., two sisters, Jacquelyn Skeeter and Beverly Ashe, of Suffolk, Va.; three brothers, Alton Skeeter, of Virginia Beach, Tony Wilson, of Suffolk, Donald Ashe, of Norfolk, Va., and one nephew Nikita Skeeter, of Suffolk and two uncles, Roy and John Dawson, also of Suffolk, Va.
