Lakeland football coach Glenwood Ferebee said Saturday that Cavaliers senior Cedric Johnson was doing well after suffering a strained neck muscle Friday against visiting Grassfield.

The running back and linebacker was hurt when he collided with teammate Jordan Patrick while making a tackle late in the game. He was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
