A site worth seeing

It’s new.
It’s improved.
And with a few clicks of the mouse, the Suffolk News-Herald’s new design of its Web site, www.suffolknewsherald.com, is at your fingertips.
Last Sunday, the News-Herald debuted a new layout allowing all the site’s visitors to suggest stories, submit letters, wedding and birth announcements, and other community news.
One of the most exciting new features of the site is the Suffolk Seen capability. This feature will allow members from the community to upload their pictures from parties, events and around town to the Web site. Joined on the site will be pictures taken at some of the city’s biggest events by the News-Herald’s own staff photographers.
We are confident that this site and its new layout will help bridge the communities and citizens of this city.
While we are still working out a few kinks to the Web site (and we appreciate you bearing with us), you will ultimately find the site easier and more fun to use.
But you – our readers, both of the electronic and print editions of the News-Herald – are the critical link to the success of any enhancements we make to our products.
As you scroll through the new site, feel free to send along your questions, comments and concerns on the new layout. Let us know where we have improved, and where we can make more improvements.
The Suffolk News-Herald is the mirror of your community – and we want to know you think about our reflection.
