James Edward Vaughan, 76, died Nov. 22.

A funeral service, with the Rev. Lisa Blackmonson officiating, will be held Nov. 25 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home. Interment will be in Whaleyville United Methodist Church Cemetery with military honors. Friends joined the family Friday night at the funeral home, with Elks rites held at 7 p.m. Friends may join the family at other times at the residence of Karen and Glen Pope, 2612 Joshua Lane, Suffolk.
