It’s that time of year again, when families are starting to put together their plans for joining each other for Thanksgiving.

It’s a wonderful time of the year, full of smiles and hugs and plenty of holiday cheer.

But it is also a time of year when so many will go without unless somebody steps in to help.

We know that there are groups in Suffolk who will be providing a delicious holiday meal to the homless and those who might otherwise spend the day alone. We just don’t know who you are.

Won’t you please contact us at news@suffolknewsherald.com and tell us when your dinner is, where it is being held and how folks can get in touch with you to find out more?

If we don’t know about you, we can’t help you get the word out.

For those who may not be a member of these fine organizations, you might consider volunteering to help out.

It won’t take your entire day, and you will receive so much in return.

Once we hear about the meals, we’ll publish the information.

Then, it is up to you to contact those folks and become of a part of their special offering.
