Norman L. Bradshaw Sr. completed his earthly journey and went to his eternal home on Thursday, Nov. 9. He was born in Southampton County on Oct. 23, 1950. He received his education at Southampton High School and Hampton University where he received an Associate Degree in Industrial Technology. He retired as an automobile parts specialist at Advance Auto after 12 years of service. He was a member of Old Land Mark Church of 1 Non-denominational. He was a deacon and minister at Holy Faith C.O.G.I.C.
He will join his father, Norman T. Ricks; daughter, Jackie Bradshaw; and brother, Charles Bradshaw in the Eternal Kingdom. He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memory, his wife, Suzanne Bradshaw; two sons, Norman Bradshaw Jr. of Charlotte, N.C. and Melvin Bradshaw of Richmond; his mother, Virginia Epps; two sisters, Ernest and Nell Hailin, of Jarrett and Shirley Epps, of Franklin; two brothers, Rufus Epps Jr., of Southampton, and Clarence and Tami Epps, of Suffolk; three grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, church family, and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at noon Wednesday, Nov. 15, in Holy Faith Church of God in Christ, Franklin. Elder Asbury James will be the officiant. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
