The Airfield 4-H Center near Wakefield is hosting a special event for children 5-8, called “Camping is S’more Than Fun,” July 14-16. The Mogarts Beach Day Camp at the FFA-FHA Camp at Mogarts Beach, north of Smithfield, is in its 17th year. The hours are 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily. Activities include swimming, crafts, music, outdoor games, nature study, manners training, character studies and bible stories. The East Suffolk After School Summer Enrichment Program will run from Monday, July 10 to Friday, August 11, daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Youth in grades 3-7 are eligible for this enrichment program, with mornings devoted to academics and the afternoons to arts and crafts, fun and games.
