Nurnie Elvie Boone died April 20, 2006, in Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie, N.C.

A funeral service will be conducted in the Native American Baptist Church, Winton, N.C. by the Revs. Michael Reid and Randy Melton at noon, Saturday, April 29. Burial will be in the Boone Family Cemetery, Gates, N.C.

Stallings Funeral Homes, Gatesville, N.C. is in charge of arrangements.
