Two Courtland residents were jailed over the weekend in connection with a March 29 carjacking and malicious wounding of a Maryland man in Suffolk.
Ronald V. Kersey Jr., 36, of Farmer Grove, and Teresa L. Joyner, 41, also of Farmer Grove in Courtland, were charged in the March 29 incident, which happened at the intersection of Finney Avenue and Pinner Street.
The victim had picked up the suspects hitchhiking.
