Beale marries Wilkerson

The wedding celebration of Kristin Elizabeth Beale, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Beale of Suffolk, Virginia, and Jeremy Ray Wilkerson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Wilkerson of Kilgore, Texas, took place on Saturday, December 17, 2005, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Suffolk, Virginia.
The bride is the maternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. C.O. Blevins and the paternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Beale. The groom is the maternal grandson of Mr. Larry Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. Lelan Williams and the paternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Wilkerson.
The Rev. Chad Alexander, youth minister at First Baptist Church Liberty City, Kilgore, Texas, and Dr. Allen Jackson, Associate Professor of Youth Education at New Orleans Theological Baptist Seminary, New Orleans, Louisiana, performed the wedding ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Mrs. Jennifer Rice of Birmingham, Alabama, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Carrie Blanchard of Suffolk, Virginia; Mrs. Jesse King of Denton, Texas; Miss Martha McCarty of Anniston, Alabama; Miss Erin Talley of Dalton, Georgia; and Mrs. Kristin Tidwell of Franklin, Tennessee. Miss Jordan Wilkerson of Kilgore, Texas, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.
The best man was Mr. Shane Rice of Birmingham, Alabama. Groomsmen were Mr. Ryan Beale, brother of the bride; Mr. Jeremy Rich of Kilgore, Texas; and Mr. Terry Stevens of Kilgore, Texas, brother-in-law of the groom.
Mrs. Cindy Floyd of Suffolk was mistress of ceremonies. The worship music was provided by: Mr. and Mrs. Michael Spooner; Mr. Keith Wilkerson, father of the groom; Mrs. Jennifer Stevens, sister of the groom; and Mrs. Merle Kay Blanchard. Miss Amy Jenkins served at the guest book.
Following the reception at the Holland Community House, the couple left for a trip to Washington, D.C. The couple will reside in Fairhope, Alabama, where the groom serves as Minister of Worship at The Crossroads Church in Daphne, Alabama, and where the bride and groom will both continue their studies at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
