Isaac Lamie Watkins, 57, of the 1500 block of Olde Mill Creek Drive, Suffolk, passed away Jan. 4, 2006 in Medical College of Virginia Hospital, Richmond. A native of Suffolk, he was preceded in death by his father, Walter Watkins and a sister, Jo Ann Almond.

He was a graduate of East Suffolk High School and a retired Army veteran. He was a Baptist.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Mrs. Margaret Ann Watkins; four daughters, Mrs. Ingrid Clark (Ronald) of Suffolk, Mrs. Sharmeen Grant (Curtis) of Maple Shade, New Jersey, Ms. Angel Watkins of Suffolk, and Mrs. La Tonya Saunders (Terry) of Portsmouth; two sons, Eric Watkins (Naomi) of Norfolk and Stacy Watkins of Long Island, New York; his mother, Mrs. Lillian Watkins; four sisters, Regina Hall, Sarah Watkins, Linda Barnes, and Brenda Randall; three brothers, Walter Watkins, Jr., Joseph Watkins, and Randolph Watkins; 12 grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral Service will be held at Noon, Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006 in Crocker Funeral Home by Dr. Anthony Copeland. Interment will be in the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
