Mary Lee Giles peacefully passed away Nov. 22, 2005. She was born Dec. 3, 1919 to the late Jeff Woodard and Salon Day Pierce in Drewsville. She was raised in South Hampton County by the late Willie Daye and Hattie Daye.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life six children; David Giles Jr., Robert L. Giles, Eddie Giles (Martha), Alexander Giles, Raymond Giles (Viola), Buddy Giles (Elane); one brother Gerald L. Outlaw, 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of many relatives and friends.

Ms. Giles will be on public view from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 28, 2005 at T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at 1111 Blyewood Lane at all other times. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Nov. 29, 2005 at T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery.
