Mrs. Nannie Crute Bland, 81, of 310 Webb Street, Suffolk; died June 23, 2005 in Obici Hospital.

She was a native of Nansemond County. She was the daughter of the late Luther Crute and Mary Tharp Crute. She was the widow of Joe Bland.

She was a member of St. Paul RUZA Church.

She retired from Pond Brothers Peanut Company.

Her survivors include one daughter, Lillie Mae Randall of Suffolk; three nieces, Hazeline Ferguson of Suffolk, Mazeline Debrew of Chesapeake and Beatrice Jones of Norfolk; a devoted friend, Christine Foreman; a host of nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Monday, June 27, 2005 in St. Paul RUZA Church by the Dr. Edward Foreman. The interment will be held in Carver Memorial Cemetery.

Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, is in charge of arrangements.

The family is at the home of Mrs. Lillie Mae Randall, 307 Webb St., Suffolk.
