Dog sought after biting officer

Suffolk Animal Control and the Suffolk Health Department need help in locating a dog described as a gold or yellow Labrador Retriever, approximately three to four years old, with white markings on the chest.
The dog bit a police officer, who may have to undergo rabies treatment if the animal is not located.
This dog was allegedly given away to an unknown individual around 4 a.m. June 19, on the property of the Suffolk Wal-Mart located at 1200 N. Main St.
