The Gates of Heaven COGIC anniversary committee and church, located at 112 Beech St., will be celebrating their pastor’s 11th anniversary at 7:30 p.m. nightly from June 5-14. Pastor Superintendent Sylvester Silver Sr. will be honored along with the First Lady Missionary Linda L. Silver. They have five children, four girls and a son, and eight grandchildren, one daughter-in-law and two sons-in-law.
Also at 7:30 p.m. on June 3 the youth department of Gates of Heaven will have a service prefacing the pastor’s anniversary. Call 934-0455 or 539-3856 for more information. Also, Gates of Heaven COGIC will be selling fish and chicken dinners at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The dinners include string beans, potato salad and rolls and dessert. Paul Branch Baptist
Paul Branch Baptist Church, 1701 White Marsh Road, Suffolk, will have a series of dedication services today through May 27 and the 29th for the installed restrooms.
The speakers for the week beginning with Wednesday are the Rev. Greene of First Baptist Church, Hosier Road; Rev. Margaret Pitman, Miracle of Faith Worship Center; and Friday, the Rev. Clarence Myrick pastor of St. Mary Holiness Church and the Rev. C. D. Leaval, pastor of Balm of Gilead Baptist Church. The service time is 7:30 p.m. each day and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. 20th pastor’s anniversary
at Mt. Sinai

Men’s Sing-A-Rama
The V.T.
