Milton E. Parham, 54, of 5237 Holland Road, Suffolk and Williamsburg, entered to rest on May 10, 2005 at the residence of his niece and nephew. He was a native of Nansemond County. He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis L. Parham, his brothers, Felton Scott, James Scott, Bernard Scott and Curtis Scott.
He is survived by his father, Robert Parham of Suffolk; brothers, Sam Scott Jr., (Peggy) of Suffolk, Leroy Scott Sr. (Lizzie) of Suffolk, Hoffler Lee Scott (Alice) of N.Y., foster brother, Timothy Parham of Fla.; sisters, Pearlie Mae Jones of Suffolk and Lois Meggie of N.Y.; sisters-in-law, Bernice L. Scott of Suffolk, Delois Scott of N. Y. and Elaine Scott of N.Y.; a devoted niece and nephew, Jan and Bill Atkinson and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2005 at St. Matthew’s Holiness Church on Dutch Road with the Elder Ira McCoy Williams officiating. The interment will be in St. Matthews Cemetery. The body will lay in state at 1 p.m. in St. Matthew’s on Sunday.
Visitation will take place at 2517 Woodland Trail (Lake Forest) Suffolk. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
