The Singing Larks are celebrating their 48th anniversary on Saturday, April 9 at Nansemond River High School. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the program starts at 6 p.m. The program will feature Slim and the Supreme Angels of Milwaukee, Wis.; Willis Pittman and The Burden Lifters of Richmond; Willie Mitchell & The Messengers of Jackson, Miss.; Rising St. James Male Chorus of Suffolk and The Dynamic Tones of Portsmouth. Tickets are available at Mr. T’s Unisex, C & C. Barbershop, and Holland Produce, and can be obtained from any member of the Singing Larks, Dynamic Tones, or St. James Chorus.
