Has Bush really been successful in Iraq?

Editor, the News-Herald:
It’s interesting to read that Dick Morris (Condi could be Republicans’ anti-Hillary in 2008, Feb. 19) believes that &uot;President Bush’s success in Iraq has laid the basis for negotiation in the Middle East…&uot; I wonder if Mr. Morris really believes Mr. Bush is successful when &uot;Iraq insurgency has grown ‘in size and complexity over the past year,’ and is now mounting an average of 60 attacks per day, up from 25 last year….&uot; See the Virginian Pilot’s article Officials: Iraq a breeding ground for terrorists, today’s date.
And we ousted Saddam for this?
I think some of these politicians and writers are drinking their own bath water.
