Charles Green Jr., 5, of 114 Crosstown Road, Gates, N.C., died Jan. 24, 2005 in Little Rock, Ark. He was a native of Suffolk.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Melvin and Ruth Green Sr. and Linwood and Alice Freeman.

He was a student at Buckland Elementary School. He is survived by his parents Charles and Barbara Green and adoptive parents, Melvin and Iris Green; sister, Crystal M. Green of Gates, N.C.; brothers, Melvin Green III and wife Cissy of Shreveport, La.; Marcus Green and wife Damian of Alexandria; Cameron and Kamanie Davis, both of Suffolk.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005 in Little Mount Zion Baptist Church. Interment will be held in Little Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 114 Crosstown Road in Gates, N.C. Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
