Sharandra Yevette Diggs, daughter of Perlie M. Diggs, Jr. and Alice Cowling Diggs, was born on Sept. 18, 1979 in Newport News. The Lord called her home from labor to reward on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004 in Obici Memorial Hospital.

Sharanda was very family oriented and enjoyed driving her family to many places and on routine errands.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Asernique Kimbrough, her parents, Perlie M. Diggs, Jr. and Alice C. Diggs, one sister, Rena Eaton of Portsmouth; two brothers, Quincy Cowling of Newport News and Quentin Cowling of Smithfield; six aunts; two uncles; three great aunts; two great uncles; great grandmother; Viola Cowling of Suffolk; many nieces; nephews; cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec.15, 2004 at 1 p.m. at New Mt. Joy Food for Living Ministries, 307 County Street, Suffolk. Viewing will be held Tuesday, December 14,2004 from noon to 8 p.m. at T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home. Interment will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery in Suffolk.
