Suffolk student earns honors at ECU

Kelly-Grier P. Ferguson was recently named to the Chancellor’s List at East Carolina University.
This honor is awarded to students who achieve a 4.0 grade point average.
She was also the recipient of the E. C. U. Pan-Hellenic Scholarship Award in recognition for having the highest grade point average in Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority where she is serving as vice president.
Kelly-Grier has recently been accepted to the Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, Italy.
She will attend the 2005 spring semester of her junior year of college.
Kelly-Grier, the daughter of Grier and Nancy Ferguson of Murphy’s Mill Road in Suffolk, is a 2002 graduate of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy.
