Gabby Ferraioli and Amanda Hill helped Nansemond River to the district tournament for the first time of the millennium last season. Chris Taylor, Wendy Najacque, Matt Revelle, Aaron Stacy, and Jeff Edwards helped Lakeland to a &uot;Suffolk Sweep&uot; of Nansemond River this year. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s Britney Bishop had a goal and an assist in her final game as her team defeated Greenbrier Christian 2-0 in their &uot;Senior Day&uot; game.
