Suffolk’s soccer-playing seniors say goodbye

Nansemond River’s Ricky DeTriquet (pictured) was his team’s only graduate for the 2003-4 season. akeland Coach Gina Herr and seniors Audrey Hancock, Ginger Rawls, Jennifer Brinkley, Kristin Brown, and Robyn Mazzone are all leaving the school after this season; Herr will become King’s Fork High School’s first girls’ soccer coach. Gabby Ferraioli and Amanda Hill helped Nansemond River to the district tournament for the first time of the millennium last season. Chris Taylor, Wendy Najacque, Matt Revelle, Aaron Stacy, and Jeff Edwards helped Lakeland to a &uot;Suffolk Sweep&uot; of Nansemond River this year. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s Britney Bishop had a goal and an assist in her final game as her team defeated Greenbrier Christian 2-0 in their &uot;Senior Day&uot; game.
