Edith Farris Munford, 80, of LaCrosse, died Saturday, April 17, 2004.

She was the widow of Chesley A. Munford, and is survived by one daughter, Lillie A. Munford of LaCross; one sister, Lillian Hall of Lenoir, N.C.; and a brother, Paul F. Farris Sr. of Chilhowie.

The funeral was conducted at 8 p.m. Monday in the Farrar Funeral Home, South Hill, by the Rev. Randy Bailey. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Holly Lawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, The National Foundation or The American Diabetes Assoc.
