Keep inspections

Sure, you could save a few bucks by being able to forgo an annual state-required car inspection, and instead do it every other year. But it’s tempting fate, as people might say.
In the time between inspections, a lot can happen to your car – the engine will develop a slow leak, the tires will naturally become worn, and so what if a single tail light is off?
But that neglect could likely result in a breakdown on the highway that could cost you more in time and money (tow trucks, for example), than if you took the time to make sure you vehicle was in proper shape.
Why should this even be an issue?
