Margery Morgan Palmer, 92, of Suffolk, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, in Obici Hospital.

Born on June 17, 1911, in Massachusetts, she was the widow of the late Thera Omar &uot;T.O.&uot; Palmer Jr. Mrs. Palmer was a World War II Navy veteran.

She worked as a librarian at Morgan Memorial Library, was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church, the church choir, and a volunteer worker at Obici Hospital.

Survivors include two sons, Thera Omar Palmer III, and wife, Arlene B. Palmer, of Suffolk; and Jack Riddick Palmer, and wife, June C. Palmer, of Virginia Beach; two grandsons, T.O. Palmer IV and Richard L. Palmer.

The Rev. Robert L. Parks will conduct the memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday in Main Street United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of the church following the service.
