It was hard to believe Monday morning as rides and exhibits were being dismantled at the Suffolk Executive Airport that only hours before the grounds were teeming with thousands of people enjoying the 26th annual Peanut Fest. Beautiful weather Sunday salvaged the event and prompted organizers to extend the Fest’s hours.
