Eva M. Bunch

Mrs. Eva Mae Bunch, 84, of LaGrange, Ga., died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at her home. Mrs. Bunch was born on Jan. 5, 1919, in Sunner Hill, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Joel and Bessie Lee Byrum Bunch.
Mrs. Bunch had worked at Louise Obici Hospital for 30 years, and had retired from the King’s Daughters General Hospital, and was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Matthews of LaGrange; a son, Bobby Gray Bunch of Sweetwater, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Allison Bunch of Sacramento, Calif.; Gary Matthews of Augusta, Ga.; Mark L. Matthews of Lexington, S.C.; James Bunch of St. Louis, Miss.; Jason Bunch and Robert Bunch, both of Knoxville, Tenn.; Marueen Cooks of Goldsburg, N.C.
The graveside service for Mrs. Eva Mae Bunch was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, in the Cedar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Sweetwater. The Rev. Chad Shaffer officiated.
These arrangements were directed by Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in LaGrange.
