Brenda Kay Pierce, 53, of 911 Everett McLerran Road, Celina, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, in Cumberland River Hospital, Celina.
Mrs. Pierce was born on Jan. 1, 1950 in Logan, W.Va. to Camillus and Amy Cisco Slone, both whom preceded her in death.
Mrs. Pierce is survived by her husband, Rick Pierce; three daughters, Barbara Moodie of Oak Grove, Tenn.; Tami Johnson of Kokomo, Ind.; and Amy and Phillip Sweezy of Moss, Tenn.; three brothers, Charlie Slone of North Carolina; Clarence Slone of Tacoma, Wash.; and Jerry Slone of Gallatin, Tenn.; two sisters, Harriett Bullard of Indiana; and Jackie Plumlee of Moss; four grandchildren, Carlos Gonzalez Jr., Brandon Gonzalez, Taylor Johnson and Heather Sweezy.
Mrs. Pierce was a homemaker. She was also a member of the Moss Church of Christ.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, in Upton Funeral Home Inc., Celina, with Ken Miller officiating. Interment will be in the Moss Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Philpott, Jason Emerton, Barry Jones, Scott Christian, Andrew Hall, and Phillip Sweezy, and Terry Bilbrey.
