Robert &uot;Poolam&uot; Boone, 64, of 1015 Nansemond Parkway Suffolk, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, July 15, 2003.

He was the son of the late Pernell Boone Sr. and Margaret Kindred Boone. He was also predeceased by his former wife, Florine M. Boone.

He attended Suffolk Public Schools.

He had retired from Planters Peanut as a machine operator and forklift Driver.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Carver Lynnda of Portsmouth; two sons, Heath Boone of Suffolk, and Robert Boone (Sonja) of Portsmouth; six aunts; one uncle; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and devoted friends.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 18, in Chapel Grove UCC, Blackwater Road, Windsor. Interment will be in Chapel Grove Church Cemetery.

Viewing will take place from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, in T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home.
