Kirtina Roberts, Scott Fortune wed in Pulaski Baptist Church

Kirtina Letita Roberts of Suffolk and Airman 1st Class Scott Anthony Fortune of Charlottesville were married at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2003, in Pulaski Baptist Church, Carrsville, by the pastor, the Rev. Robert E. Rodgers.
The bride is the daughter of Maryland K. Roberts of Suffolk, and Samuel L. Roberts of Suffolk.
The groom is the son of Pamela A. Harris of Palmyra, and Charles and Carolyn Fortune of Charlottesville.
The bride is the maternal granddaughter of Bertha M. Knight of Carrsville, and the late Rev. John Linwood Knight. She is the paternal granddaughter of the late Sarah and Joseph Roberts, who lived in Suffolk.
The groom is the maternal grandson of Virginia Scott of Shipman. He is the paternal grandson of Dorothy Harris of Esmont.
Ebony Johnson of Brooklyn, N.Y., a friend of the bride, was the maid of honor.
Tabri Marshall of Richmond, and Kara Wiggins of Suffolk were bridesmaids.
Matthew Duckery of New Windsor, N.Y. was best man.
Christopher Harris, brother of the groom, and Jonathan Roberts, brother of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the James R. Darden Fellowship Hall of Pulaski Baptist Church.
The couple is residing in Jacksonville, Ark.
