Basheba G. Duncan

Basheba Gordy Duncan of Salisbury, Md., died Monday, April 21, 2003, at her residence in Salisbury. A native of Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Isaiah Gordy and Goldie Parker Gordy.
She had retired as manager of the guest house of the Church of God and Saints of Christ. She was also a member of the Church of God and Saints of Christ, the Daughters of Jerusalem and the Sisters of Mercy.
She is survived by a daughter, Wanda R. Duncan of Salisbury; four sons, Irvin Wilson Duncan Jr. of Baltimore, Md.; Peter Edward Duncan II of Portsmouth; Timothy Nathaniel Duncan, and his wife, Nicole, and Harrison Samuel Duncan, and his wife, Greta, all of Suffolk; three sisters, Naomi Tucker, Hilda Byrd, and her husband, Elder Howard Byrd, and Martha Collins, and her husband, Howard Collins, all of Baltimore; one brother, Daniel Gordy, and his wife, Hannah of Suffolk; 12 grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held at 10 am. Sunday in the Church of God and Saints of Christ by Evangelist-at-large Marcus Carr. Interment will be in Church of God and Saints of Christ Cemetery, Belleville.
The body will be taken to the church at 9 a.m.
The family will be at the home of Harrison Duncan, 6746 Burbage Lake Circle in the Burbage Grant subdivision. The family may be reached at 483-2467. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
