Mary Anne Dailey, 66, of 1110 Lake Kennedy Drive, Suffolk, died Thursday, June 3, 2010 in Sentara Obici Hospital. She was a native of Gatesville, N.C., and the daughter of Elder Hallet M. Harrell and the late Luella S. Harrell. She was also predeceased by her husband, Thurman Dailey.
She was a member of New Mount Joy Food for Living Ministries and its W.P. Wiggins Combined Choir.
She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Darnell Harrell; five sisters, Pearlie Godwin (Jessie), Ada Willis, Michelle Armstrong (Tommy), all of Suffolk, Thelma Strong, of Newport News, Va., and Sharry Harrell, of Portsmouth, Va.; five brothers, Thurman Harrell (Rudean), James Harrell, Walter Harrell, Dallas Harrell (Christine) and Larry Harrell, all of Suffolk; three aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2010 at New Mount Joy Food for Living Ministries, officiated by Dr. Viola Parker. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
