Mrs. Lillian Jones Bartlett, 79, of 768 Carolina Road, Suffolk, died Jan. 7, 2010, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was the daughter of the late John H. Jones and Fannie R. Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Otis Bartlett; three brothers, Matthew Jones Sr., Ralph Jones Sr. and Harrison Jones Sr.
She was a graduate of East Suffolk High School and Hampton Institute (now University) in nursing. She was the Owner of Odds and Ends Shop.
She is survived by one son, Keith Bartlett of Suffolk; one sister, Joyce Bellamy of Accokeek, Md.; one grandchild; one sister-in-law, Katherine Jones of Suffolk; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be held at noon, Monday at Crocker Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Bishop Madison Copeland. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. There will be no public viewing.
