On April 25, Johnnie Turner departed this life. He retired from Planters. He was a member of Healing Chapel Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. Mr. Turner was predeceased by his very loving wife, Hattie Turner.
A funeral will be held April 30 at noon at Healing Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Morris Allmond Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Harris Funeral Home, www.vharrisfuneralhome.com.
