Dorothy Taylor, 47, of 677 Willeyton Road, Gates, N.C, died Monday, July 14, 2003, at her residence in Gates.

She was a native of Gates, and a daughter of the late Tony Taylor and Marion Hunter Taylor.

She is survived by one son, Terris Taylor of Gates; one sister, Princess Watson, and her husband, Charles, of Alexandria; four brothers, James Hunter, and his wife, Gwendolyn, of Chesapeake; Wayne Taylor, and his wife, Valerie, of Washington, D.C.; Clifton Taylor, and his wife, Queen, of Virginia Beach; and Joseph Taylor, and his wife, Renee, of Alexandria; four aunts, Olive Riddick of Suffolk; Linie Valentine of Gates; Mary Dildy, and her husband, James; Virginia Dildy, and Alma Hunter, all of Suffolk; an uncle, Theodore Hunter, and his wife, Beatrice, of Suffolk and nieces, nephews cousins and friends.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 19, in New Piney Wood Chapel Baptist Church by the Rev. Richard Curry.

Interment will be in the Taylor Cemetery, Gates.
