Fire closes Pruden lanes

A tractor-trailer fire closed two lanes on Pruden Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire in the 4100 block was reported at 2:50 p.m. The fire started in the engine compartment of the tractor-trailer, according to a city press release. No one was injured.
One eastbound and one westbound lane were closed immediately following the fire, and police officers directed traffic. One westbound lane was closed for a longer period of time while hazardous materials crews cleaned fluids leaked into a nearby ditch.
