Clark makes final Ravens roster

Suffolk native Chuck Clark has solidified his status on the Baltimore Ravens for a second year.
Clark finished his preseason with two interceptions and 13 total tackles to go with a couple of pass deflections. His two interceptions were tied for the league high in the preseason.
This season Clark will continue to be a special teams contributor with the Ravens finding ways to get him on the field in base defense. Starting safety Tony Jefferson has recently come back from injury in time for the season to start; however, Baltimore has confidence in Clark to step in if needed.
After being taken in the sixth round of the 2017 draft out of Virginia Tech, Clark has earned and maintained his roster spot with impressive performance. Normally in the NFL, late-round picks have a hard time making the final roster. Clark made a name for himself in his first season, which made it hard for the Ravens to kick him to the curb.
Baltimore gets its season under way Sunday when the Ravens take on the Buffalo Bills. The former King’s Fork High School standout will likely be on the field.
