An RV was destroyed in a fire Sunday evening at a home in the 2600 block of Manning Road.
The fire was reported at 8:48 p.m., and the first units arrived on scene at 8:59 p.m. Battalion Chief William Kessinger stated in a press release that crews found the RV, located under a shelter, fully engulfed when they arrived.
Crews extinguished the fire, which did not extend to any of the surrounding structures. It was called under control at 9:14 p.m., and the motor home was declared a total loss. No one was inside the RV at the time of the fire, and there were no injuries.
